Q: When you first heard this song, how did you feel?

A: When I first heard the song, the name ‘Love Again’ was put on it. I thought that this title was perfect for the first single after making a comeback. On top of that, the song is fresh and bright and like spring. This song was chosen because of its cheerfulness.

Q: In the MV, at the casino and on the stage, you showed a cool and classy mature image. Not just through the dance scenes but through the scene at the casino, you threw the money that you had gained and ran away, grabbing the girl’s hand and I was able to feel your masculine and strong image.

[NEWS] Se7en Gets a Surprise Visit During Japanese Showcase

Singer Se7en held a showcase in Japan to commemorate his latest single “Love Again” in front of 5,000 excited fans.

Se7en’s showcase was held in Tokyo, Japan where he treated fans to a mini-concert. During the show he performed a total of ten songs for his eager fans. Among the ten songs Se7en sang “Love Again,” “Somebody Else,” “Hikari,” “Angel,” and “I’m Going Crazy.”

“Love Again” has received much support in Japan as the single managed to chart on the day of its release. Since its release the single has made it onto the Oricon Daily and Weekly charts. Q: A tight schedule! The mini album Somebody else which was released in January this year was the first in 4 years in Japan. How was the response?

A: The response was great. All my fans were waiting for me and they said to me “We are looking forward to it”. Many people came to the concert and events and the atmosphere was the same as it was 4 years ago. I’m really happy!

Q: The new single ‘Love again’ is about to be released. A dance track which makes people’s mood lift, what impression do you have of this song?

A: It is a bright and refershing song which is like spring. Because it’s spring, isnt it good to have a simple and bright song? (laughs) The recording went smoothly and I was able to sing it happily. I think maybe it will be easy for everyone to sing too. Of course I really like spring! Although i like all seasons (laughs)

Q: How about the lyrics?

A: Me starting activities in Japan again after 4 years in reflected in the lyrics. Because I sang the song with the thought of ‘Love again’ towards my fans [Note: Loving the fans again], my favourite part is the bridge. “The reason I have become a little stronger now is because I am happy I can watch over you” These lyrics are very good

Q: I can really feel your strong longing for your fans. In reality, have you become stronger?

A: Yes, I have. Have I not become stronger compared to before? Over the 4 years, I have gotten older and gained more experience, and I think I have strengthened mentally.

Q: What about physically?

A: Physically.. (laughs) well, have I not powered-up in that field as well? Although I havent been working out, I have continued to dance which is a form of exercise so it’s ok!

Q: The PV of ‘Love again’, so we are going to see improved choreography?

A: Although the filming of it hasnt taken place yet, I believe it will come out well (laughs)..Of course there will be dance and also a bit of acting. You will be able to see different expressions

Q: This time the PV will be filmed in Japan. Is there a difference between Japan and Korea?

A: I dont think there is a big difference. The only difference is that the filming time in Japan is usually 1 day but in Korea it’s 3 days

Q: Isnt it good to have more time?

A: But there’s the possibility that I have to shoot all day and all night for 3 days straight! At those times, it’s really difficult. If possible, I would like to have more time for sleep (laughs)

Q: That’s true (laughs). The song which had a big response (When I cant sing) released in February in Korea also has a Japanese version now.

A: Yes, the contents of the song is the same, it’s really sad. Although I performed this song alot in Korea.. At the end of the live stage, alot of people could relate to the song..I thought that Japanese fans will also be touched

Q: Even if I cant sing anymore, will you still love this me which has nothing left. Have you thought about if you really cannot sing anymore one day?

A: No! I dont imagine such things which can make me feel insecure or negative. If I think about it, wouldnt it make it difficult for me?

Q: Indeed, you need to continue to work hard

A: Yes (laughs), if I cannot sing anymore ..well I will do other things. I am interested in some other things besides music too. It seems that music is my hobby.

[NEWS] SE7EN wins 'Best Overseas Performer' award at the 2012 China Music Award and Asian Influential Awards

On April 13, ‘16th 2012 China Music Award and Asian Influential Awards’ was held in Macau, China and SE7EN received 'Best Overseas Performer' Award. Since 1994, China Music Award has invited the 100 most influential celebrities every year. Se7en will be starting overseas promotion with the release of a new single in Japan.

Earlier today, YG Entertainment shared that Se7en will release a new single, “Love Again“, in Japan on the 25th.

With his goodbye stage on SBSs “Inkigayo” last month, Se7en finished promotions in Korea and will be focusing on promotions in other parts of Asia with the release of his Japanese single.

Se7en returned to lively boyhood during a photoshoot for 1st Look Magazine. In one of the revealed pictures, Se7en has a lollipop in his mouth and looking at the camera rather rebelliously and yet, curiously. In another photo, he looks ready for an exciting adventure, holding a skateboard on his shoulder.

During the interview that was conducted along with the photo shoot, Se7en expressed pride in his career. He said, "I am proud of everything I've done as a solo performer, singing and dancing all at the same time by myself, for the past 10 years." He also revealed his hopes in pursuing something more than an onstage career. "I hope to establish my own entertainment company in the future. I want to raise solo performers like myself."

Se7en spoke candidly about his long-time girlfriend, actress Park Han Byul on SBS’ “Strong Heart,” which aired on April 3.

Of his girlfriend, Se7en revealed, “After being with someone for 10 years, there are definitely changes in the relationship.” He continued, “When we first became a couple, and we would go to watch movies together, I wouldn’t be able to concentrate on the movie because I would be busy thinking about her and directing my attentions to her. The tweet, which he posted online after the broadcast of SBS’ ‘Strong Heart,’ was accompanied by a photo of a proud-looking Se7en with his ‘Strong Heart’ trophy. He captured everyone’s attention by revealing the story of how he and Park Han Byul almost broke up, but had their relationship saved by a hacker who publicized his pictures with Park Han Byul, thereby revealing their secret relationship.

On the April 3rd episode of SBS‘s ‘Strong Heart‘, singer Se7en revealed how he was able to keep his relationship with girlfriend, Park Han Byul, hidden for seven years.

Se7en expressed the inconvenience he had to go through when trying to date his girlfriend by saying “We never got a lot of opportunity to go on one-on-one dates. We met when there were a group of people around. When we wanted to meet alone, we would meet in the car or go to each other’s house.”

Singer Se7en explained that the leaked photos of himself and girlfriend Park Han Byul actually saved their relationship.

On the April 3rd episode of SBS ‘Strong Heart‘, Se7en talked about his 10-year relationship with girlfriend, actress Park Han Byul.

“Our relationship never grew stale, but it became challenging at the 7 year mark,” he said. “I was in the US to advance into the American market, and because we were far apart from each other, we fought often.”

After a rather serious argument, Se7en returned to Korea because of visa issues and met Park Han Byul, but the two didn’t have enough time to properly organize their thoughts and their fight only became more serious. The two finally decided to call it quits.

“I was sobbing all the way home, when Park Han Byul called me,” he continued. “It was like a scene in the movies. Photos of us had been hacked and leaked all over the internet.”

“There was no way to deny it, as we were so obviously a couple,” he explained. “I met with her again to discuss how we were going to resolve this, and we realized that the both of us never wanted to really break up and that it was just a big misunderstanding.”

“So we actually started seeing each other again because of the leaked photos, and decided to boldly date publicly,” he said.

[NEWS] Se7en to Release New Japanese Single and Hold Showcase

On April 25, Se7en will release a new Japanese single "Love Again." Along with the new CD, Japanese fans will also have the chance to buy a special CD with a ticket to a live event! The event is "SE7EN New Single Showcase" and will be held in four Japanese cities throughout May. Two shows in Tokyo (May 5, afternoon and evening shows), two shows in Osaka (May 12, afternoon and evening shows), and one show each in Nagoya (May 6) and Fukuoka (May 5).

The special CD/event ticket combo contains Se7en's newest single and one ticket for the event. By going to Mu-Mo, fans can preorder the CD/event ticket and choose the city and date they wish to attend. The price is 7,700 yen and there's a limit of 30 CD/event tickets per person.

However, you must register at Mu-Mo to be eligible to buy the CD/event ticket combo, the special CD is not sold through YG's official Japanese site. Top stars and celebrity couple Se7en and Park Han Byul have recently celebrated their 10th year anniversary!

On March 29th, the two lovebirds held a party at an upscale restaurant in Seoul. Se7en and Park Han Byul have been together since March 30th of 2002. With the blessings of their guests, the couple rang in March 30th to mark their 10 years together.

The party was an exclusive one, with just 10 close friends of the couple as guests. A staff of the restaurant said, “Se7en and Park Han Byul celebrated their long lasting relationship with those who were closest to them. They did not act like celebrities, but took care of each other and displayed their affections.”

Se7en and Park Han Byul met when they were students in Anyang High School. Once they became celebrities, they were signed to the same company until 2005, when Park Han Byul signed with a different agency. Regardless of this, the two maintained their love for each other.

The two kept their relationship a secret until May of 2009, when a past photo taken by them were leaked on the internet. This marked a turning point in their relationship as they went public and did not hesitate to confirm their relationship through numerous interviews and public appearances.
