Before he appeared, about 1 and a half minutes of the music video was shown.
He appeared at about 8pm and started with “Digital Bounce”. He came out wearing sunglasses, dressed in a suit and during one part of the dance, he had his fist clenched, making a hitting action. When he sang the “Digital X” part, he had his arms crossed in an “X”.
After singing the first song, he started off by saying that he had missed everyone. Then he spoke a bit in Japanese to the Japanese fans who were present and thanked them for coming. Then it was question time – apparently before the show, ppl wrote down some questions on pieces of paper and he picked some out of a box. The first question was whether he felt threatened/insecure now that there were so many junior artists who have come out during the time he was away (BB, 2ne1 etc). Fans were annoyed that there was such a question and started to yell out “Who wrote that question? What kind of question is that? Of course he’s not threatened! Who do you think we are?” Dongwookie said with a bit of a joking tone “Because they are good dongsengs to me, i’m happy that they are doing well. I dont feel insecure at all, who does? TOP is even featured in my album!”
2nd question was, it has been a long time since he’s made a comeback, how does he feel? His response was “This obvious question…hahaha… of course i feel happy and fortunate”
3rd question was if he thinks that this new album will do well and he said that he worked hard on this album and knows that everyone will be satisfied.
The ppl who wrote the 3 questions who were picked out got a blackberry phone as a gift and the person who came first even got to exchange MSN details with him, so that she could chat with him via MSN all day
Then after that, Dongwookie said that it was the last song already and everyone was like, what? last song?? already??? But fans couldnt do anything and Better Together started. Both Digital Bounce and Better Together contain a fair bit of autotune but Better Together has more of a melody line. Expected there to be a solo dance part but there wasnt one. The “Girl girl girl” part was sung with a lowered type of voice and was really cool. The female dancers didnt come today so it wasnt the full dance performed..
At the end, they showed the making of the Music Video which showed more of the dance..seems like this full version will be the version on the comeback performances. After that he left the stage and didnt come out even though we called for encore TT
