SE7EN: Good Evening, it’s SE7EN. It’s been a while. Please take care of me kindly.

MC: It really has been a while!

SE7EN: That’s true

MC: It’s been 4 years since you’ve been back. How is it like being back in Japan? Are you having fun?

SE7EN: That’s true. It’s been a while since I’ve been back in Japan. It’s been 4 years. So I’m really nervous.

MC: I see. How many times have you gone to Osaka?

SE7EN: In Osaka hmm.. How many times has it been? This is my 5th or 6th or 7th time… I think.

MC: Is that so? The fans in Osaka has really been waiting for SE7EN. During that 4 years, fans have been worried and curious about what kind of life SE7EN has and why SE7EN hasn’t come yet and many others. During that time what were you time?

SE7EN: During that time I was doing American activities and various events and then returned to Korea and released an album there, which started up my Korean activities. Even had activities and events around Asia. This time I could release an album in Japan, so I have returned!

MC: That’s true. I saw it on the news about your various American lifestyle and activities. From your Korean comeback mini album, Digital Bounce, more than before it felt more powerful. Is that because of your American activities experience?

SE7EN: It could be of that too. I wanted to do a musical genre that I haven’t done until now. Recently I did sort of an electronic hip hop genre style. So it’s sort of a new kind of feeling so that I think… everyone can like it… giggles

MC: I see. For SE7EN, what did you think of your American activities?

SE7EN: For about 1 and a half to 2 years while living in America, I did various events and work. For me, I thought it was a really good experience. uhm… like I learned a lot of English. Also I met with various amazing artists and producers and worked together with them in music and other things. So I learned various things like of course English, music and dance. There were influences to my personality and learned a lot of the American culture. In various places, it was a really good experience

MC: That’s true. Although the American culture and activities rarely came by, for SE7EN as an artist it was helpful. Uhm this month was the YG Family Concert in Osaka. I went to the concert on January 7th here in Osaka. It was really exciting. Not only SE7EN but all of the YG Family members were there. How was it? your feelings?

SE7EN: It has been a while since I’ve done a concert in Osaka and in terms of a YG Family concert in Japan it’s been 5 years. It’s also the 15th year anniversary concert. Not only me but all the family members gathered for the concert, everyone had fun doing it.

MC: The most memorable part for me was during “dorawajoh” -

SE7EN: it’s only “wajoh”

MC: oh it’s only “wajoh” .sorry. Seungri came out first. I thought it was different and had a slightly different feeling than Se7en’s. then after that SE7EN came out in a cool white suit. Because it has been four years, more than before you became so much cooler. I felt like you really have grown up and matured. At that time at the YG Family concert, you also sang the newly released song in Japan, SOMEBODY ELSE. This SOMEBODY ELSE song, can you please introduce it a little bit?

SE7EN: My new single, the title track of my newly released mini album, SOMEBODY ELSE has sad lyrics while having quite an up beat tempo. That is the charming point of this song. It’s a really good song I think. At the YG Family Concert, I showcased this song for the first time in front of all the fans from Osaka. Everyone was happy -

MC: In my opinion I think they were really really happy.

MC: This week is to SE7EN, who recently opened up his activities in Japan. How was the first half of the interview? For the last half, we asked about his private life and various other things, please look forward to it.

In the SOMEBODY ELSE mini album, the single you released before this, ANGEL is also in it. It has sort of a sweet melody and has really sweet lyrics. this next question might seem personal but I would like to ask you, for you, SE7EN, what is an angel in your eyes? What kind of girl or like what kind type is it?

SE7EN: Angel… hmm.. Isn’t an angel an angel? Because it’s an angel i have this white image. a White image. Very kind and very pretty. That image comes in my head. Various things, they will do it for you kind of thing. I… really don’t know know

MC: Certainly, I guess an angel is not human right?

SE7EN: That’s right

MC: An angel can do things for you and stuff that makes you happiest and all. So, SE7EN’s song and performance… really for those who went to the YG Family Concert may understand this, there are things like you became so much cooler and there are also things that made you become more powerful looking. From now on, within your musical ventures, are there more things that you want to challenge in the music realm?

SE7EN: More things to challenge? uhm… With fans together, I want to create more of a playful feeling. Together singing and dancing, and be more closer to them. A musical genre in which I can make a song where I can play, sing and dance together with my fans. A song I can do at various events and/or concerts where I can meet a lot of fans. I want to do something like that.

MC: Something like that. So SE7EN wants to do a lot of things that involves getting closer to the fans. Our radio title is called Earth Colors. Colors. If you had to choose a color, what would it be?

SE7EN: I’m white.

MC: White? Is there a reason?

SE7EN: I’m an angel.

MC: Do you want to be an angel for the fans?

SE7EN: I’m just an angel! From the beginning.

SE7EN: yes
