Talks about the SE7EN SOMEBODY ELSE ALBUM release event on the 28th.

MC: It’s SE7EN. Please treat me well

SE7EN: Please treat me well

MC: firstly, YG FAMILY CONCERT in Japan thank you for your hard work

SE7EN: Cheers for good work

MC: It’s been awhile since you’ve performed in OSAKA.

SE7EN: that’s true

MC: How was it?

SE7EN: Since it’s been awhile i’ve performed in OSAKA, It was really fun with everyone and me.

MC: I saw it too. You were certainly so cool

SE7EN: really? Thank you

MC: You just released your mini album, SOMEBODY ELSE on January 18th. Congratulations!

SE7EN: Thank you.

MC: There are a lot of fans that have been looking forward to it. The thoughts you have about this album.

SE7EN: Because it’s been awhile since i’ve released an album in Japan, I really looked forward to it. That’s why using all my strength, in this album, I wanted to prepare a lot of really good songs for everyone.

MC: I took interest in SOMEBODY ELSE when I first heard it live, I really liked it immediately. The lyrics are sad.

SE7EN: Right? It’s has a relatively upbeat but the lyrics are sad. It’s a bittersweet feeling. I really like it. That’s true! In Japan, It was in Osaka when I first time I performed it live. There may have a meaning to it. For people in Osaka, it was the first time I gave this performance so everyone may have really liked it.

MC: Osaka fans are very special and lucky to have a chance to listen to this song before anyone else. Certainly they may have a special memory.

In this newly released album there are two songs from the Korean mini album released last year, except it is the Japanese version. When singing the same songs in either Japanese or Korean were there any difficult points?

SE7EN: There were rarely any difficulties. A Korean song but sung with Japanese lyrics.. the meaning of both songs are the relatively the same so in terms of meaning, it was okay. I recorded it relatively naively.

MC: did you try singing with the thoughts Japanese-like sad feeling or like various

feelings?

SE7EN: I think the meaning of the lyrics is important so I thought of the lyrics and sang while thinking of it. In terms of difference in feelings between Japan and Korea, in my head I think it is the same. I don’t think there is much of a difference.

MC: By the way, through blogs and twitter, it seems like YG Family members are really close with each other. In reality how is it?

SE7EN: In reality, it is like a family. Like my own family. With that feeling, everyone is really close with each other.

MC: really close each other right? Is there any one you are especially close with?

SE7EN: I guess…for me it’s BIG BANG. Because of that male connection?

MC: You guys match? Normally you guys hang out a lot?

SE7EN: yeah, we usually make music together, eat together, drink together and many more. So if we look at that it’s BIG BANG that i’m close with.

MC: Japanese fans must be jealous. To imagine that BIG BANG and SE7EN hanging out together is amazing I think.

So SE7EN, Please tell us what you plan to do from now on!

SE7EN: Because it’s been a while since i’ve released an album in Japan and it has just released, I hope for everyone to keep cheering me. and… I’m seriously going about my Japanese activities. Please treat me well.

MC: Lastly, a message to all the listeners.

SE7EN: To all K-POP CAFE listeners, good evening it’s se7en. I just released my mini album, SOMEBODY ELSE, and I hope everyone listens to it. From now on, in Japan, I’ll work hard at my activities. Let’s meet a lot!

MC: Thank you

SE7EN: Thank you. This was SE7EN. Let’s listen SE7EN’s new single, SOMEBODY ELSE. See you. Yeah~

Somebody Else

MC: we just listened to our interview with a star Popular in both Korea and Japan, SE7EN. I saw SE7EN’s stage for the first time at the YG Family Concert. His stage was sparkly and bright and basically so cool! But sitting beside him during the interview, the atmosphere was totally different. I felt like he was kind, and held a soft image. Whenever I talk to him, it seems like i didn’t have to worry about anything. You heard it right? SE7EN’s Japanese is really good! I naturally asked him questions in Japanese and he naturally understood and responded in Japanese. The interview went by really smoothly and went long. I was nervous and was relatively flustered when talking to him. When the interview ended, I realized it would’ve been better if we could’ve talked a bit longer. It was really nice to have a smooth interview instead of having a translator in between us.

Keeps talking about the YG Family Concert
